I rise briefly to speak to the amendment on behalf of the official Opposition. There is a sense in which the amendments that stand in the name of the Liberal Democrats and those that stand in the name of my hon. Friend the Member for Gainsborough represent the two extremes that I am happy to sail between. If my hon. Friend and his accomplice are outriders, I am securely placed in the limousine.
