The Committee will suspend for 30 minutes and reconvene at 10 o’clock. I ask the Programming Sub-Committee to remain in the Room and I will reconvene it. In the absence of a Government majority, it is unlikely that I will accept the same programme motion because having rejected it once the Committee is likely to reject it a second time. If there is no Government majority within that time, we must arrive at a way for progressing the Bill.
