The hon. Gentleman slightly misses the key point, which is that there are different definitions of “charitable purpose” and “charity” in different pieces of legislation that apply to the same territory. It is that inconsistency to which I am trying to draw the Minister’s attention, and I hope that he will address it in due course, even if not through the Bill.
