The clause amends section 46 of the 1992 Act and adds another exemption, which applies to the position of the president of a trade union. For the sake of our background knowledge, will the Minister say how many unions that would affect? How many have a president? If one looks at the way in which the clause is drafted, it seems that some trade unions do not have a president. If that is the case, will he explain how many presidents there are?
