Schedule 8 - Minor and consequential amendments:
Water Bill [Lords]
Public Bill Committees, 16 October 2003, 3:30 pm

Mr Bill Wiggin (Leominster, Conservative)
On a point of order, Mr. Amess. I am curious as to why schedule 8 was selected at this point in the proceedings and not at a later stage, because it is the final schedule of the Bill. I am sorry that the usual
Clerk is not here to guide you, but I know that the Clerk who is here today is one of the finest, and I am sure that he will be able to help.

Mr David Amess (Southend West, Conservative)
Our regular Clerk will be returning at 4 o'clock, but I am advised that we agreed on 16 October that that should be the order in which these matters should be taken.
Schedule 8, as amended, agreed to.
