I am grateful to the hon. Gentleman for giving way. If he had listened to what I had said, instead of making notes about what he intended to say—[Hon. Members: ''Oh!] Dearie me. What I actually said—I have to paraphrase because I do not remember my exact words—was if the man who put his hand in my pocket pulled it out and took no money, he would not have committed the offence of theft. He might have committed some other offence, but not the offence of theft. That was more or less what I said.
