It seems that that is always the case, but the hunt meet is often in the centre of the village or the town and that is a presentation or demonstration of the activity in the countryside. People may say that because they own the land they can decide what goes on there, but if they own all the land in the area is it therefore up to them to dictate to the people who live in that area what they can and cannot do in that area?
