The Minister has referred to the previous discussions that we had in Committee about the problems of dogs underground. However, he has neglected to mention one important area that was a subject of earnest discussion and even of the twinkling of a compromise between either side of the Committee; the use of terriers to dispatch the cubs of nursing vixens. In fact, the hon. Member for Wolverhampton, South-West and I exchanged notes on the subject. He undertook to be as helpful as he could be when the Bill came back to the House and use his good offices to ensure that the welfare of cubs that had been orphaned and left underground—
