I was interested in the hon. Gentleman's use of the phrase ''fiddling figures''. Considering that he quoted a particular hospital in that context, it is a reasonable deduction that he is accusing that hospital of fiddling its figures. Has the hon. Gentleman contacted the hospital to get an explanation of those changes, and would he like to communicate his
accusations to it? He should at least give the hospital some opportunity to respond.
