Can the hon. Gentleman please address the point that I raised earlier with the hon. Member for Beaconsfield? Does the hon. Member for Southwark, North and Bermondsey (Simon Hughes) really want the Committee to narrow the scope of schedule 4 to the most serious offences? Those cases will have received an enormous amount of publicity, so how can he guarantee that the accused will have a fair retrial?
