I understand what the Minister is saying about the circumstances that he is advancing, but perhaps he misunderstood the import of what I was seeking to put forward—my point was to the opposite effect. In the case about which I spoke, if there had been a requirement for the Irish police to provide a receipt, there would have been clear evidence to help the UK court make a decision.
