With this it will be convenient to discuss the following:

Amendment No. 116, in

clause 1, page 1, line 9, leave out

'country outside the United Kingdom'

and insert 'reciprocating country'.

Amendment No. 126, in

clause 13, page 8, line 25, leave out

'country outside the United Kingdom'

and insert 'reciprocating country'.

Amendment No. 127, in

clause 50, page 30, line 8, at end insert—

'( ) the country to be so designated is a signatory to and has ratified the European Convention on Human Rights'.

Amendment No. 128, in

clause 50, page 30, line 8, at end insert—

'( ) the country to be so designated is a reciprocating country under section 51(5).'.

Amendment No. 129, in

clause 51, page 31, line 9, at end insert—

'(5) In this part, a reciprocating country is a country other than the United Kingdom which has, at the time a request is received, implemented the provisions of:

(a) the Schengen Convention;

(b) the Mutual Legal Assistance Convention; and

(c) the 2001 Protocol.'.
