I can certainly promise the hon. Gentleman that the Department will respond in full to the Select Committee's report in the usual way. No doubt we will consider his point carefully. I hope that I have satisfied the hon. Gentleman that his new clause adds nothing to the Bill except perhaps some confusion about whether it forces us to see people face to face. I hope that, in view of my assurances, he feels able to withdraw it.
