Clause 28 - Pre-hearing reviews
Employment Bill
9:45 am

Mr Philip Hammond (Runnymede and Weybridge, Conservative)
Do the hon. Gentleman and his party support the principle that cases without merit should be capable of being struck out at a pre-hearing? I accept that he wants to ensure that proper information is available, but subject to the that caveat, does he support the principle of striking out cases that have no merit?
