I should be most grateful if the Minister gave me an example of a species that is not currently covered by the 1981 Act. I assume that the question that he has just answered about deer is covered by section 87(1)(b) of the 1981 Act, which refers to ``all other ruminating animals''.
However, the explanatory notes to the Bill state:
``This adds to the categories of animals which may be slaughtered because of FMD any animal which the Minister thinks should be slaughtered''.
Other than those categories defined in the 1981 Act, of which categories is the Minister thinking?
