    “I am keen to ensure that students in Wales are not disadvantaged by any decisions that are made about qualifications, and as such the UK Government would like the new GCSE qualifications to be available to all schools in Wales. It is, however, a decision for the Welsh Government whether they are implemented in Welsh State Schools.”
