The World Economic Forum provided my conference pass, occasional car use in Davos (including airport transfers) and some hospitality. In connection with a visit to California, USA, 10-12 October 2007, to make a speech at Google Zeitgeist Conference, the cost of commercial flights from London to San Francisco; Sacramento to Los Angeles; and Los Angeles to London for me and three accompanying members of my staff, was met by Google, USA. Google also provided one night's accommodation for me and three accompanying members of my staff and transport by car within California. 18-20 December 2007, during an official visit to China, the International Liaison Department of the Chinese Communist Party provided me and my Chief of Staff with the following: an internal flight from Beijing to Chongqing, one night of hotel accommodation (the second night provided by the British Embassy in Beijing), some internal transport and a translator.
