    25 October-1 November 2008, to China as a member of the All-Party Parliamentary China Group, at the invitation of the Jiangsu Provincial People's congress to consolidate links between the UK and China. Transport to and from China was paid for by the All-Party Parliamentary China Group from donations previously registered. All internal costs including accommodation, meals and travel were met by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress. (Registered 6 November 2008)
