In the constituency, their focus is on supporting local people and championing local issues. They have a small staff team who help with casework, maintain their diaries, and monitor their inbox.

Entered the House of Commons on 9 June 2017 — General election
Health and Social Care (Recruitment and Retention of Staff in Rural Areas) Bill: Second Reading – Jamie Stone.
Farmers in my constituency have made the point that when a carbon capture audit is done of a farm, the value of grassland in holding and storing carbon is underestimated. That should be looked at again in the overall audit of these farms, which could help in turn to support the growth of excellent beef on our farms.
