    A majority of MPs voted to require the Secretary of State for Defence have regard to the views of religious organisations which make significant use of an armed forces chapel before deciding if to register the chapel for marriage of same sex couples, or if to cancel such a registration.

That the draft Marriage of Same Sex Couples (Use of Armed Forces’ Chapels) Regulations 2014, which were laid before this House on 23 January, be approved.
