Does the Secretary of State accept the findings of the independent scientific group on bovine TB, in particular when it says:

"Scientific findings indicate that the rising incidence of disease can be reversed, and geographical spread contained, by the rigid application of cattle-based control measures alone"?

Good to see someone speaking out against badger culls - and great to see that it is my MP!
Cattle based methods can work, but also there is a lot to be said for vaccination. There is a lot of evidence to show that culls are at best a short term solution, and at worst detrimental to the cause, on top of the fact that they are incredibly cruel and are yet another example of placing big business above all else - there's no money in badgers so it's acceptable to slaughter them on mass.
